Who is CoachXPro?

Mission statement

CoachXPro’s mission is to democratize access to high‑quality track & field knowledge, tools and gear. We believe that everyone—athletes, coaches and fans—deserves the resources to reach their potential. Our platform combines performance calculators, research‑driven training guides, and curated products to empower the global track & field community.

Our journey

CoachXPro began in Aurora, Colorado as a grassroots coaching program founded by athletes who wanted to give back to their community. In the early years, our small team trained sprinters/hurdlers, jumpers, and throwers in person, focusing on individualized attention and holistic development. As training grew, we noticed two recurring themes:

  1. Information gaps: Many athletes and coaches didn’t have easy access to basic tools, accurate calculators, or evidence‑based training advice. They relied on scattered blog posts, outdated information, or poor and misunderstood training and technical principles.

  2. Geographical barriers: We were frequently contacted by athletes outside Colorado asking for help. Remote coaching sessions and a 1-on-1 vacation visits highlighted just how many people lacked quality local resources.

To serve a larger number of athletes and fill informational gaps (and because we were tired of answering the same question repeatedly), we began building simple online calculators—starting with a pace calculator and a meters‑to‑feet converter—and publishing training tips and research on blogs across the internet. The response was overwhelming: thousands of athletes from around the world used our tools within months. Encouraged by this, we developed more calculators and advanced online tools (block settings, VO₂ max estimators, multi‑event scoring) and began writing comprehensive training guides for each event.

It became clear that our online resources were impacting a much wider audience than our in-person training could.

Additionally, in late 2024, we saw a huge opportunity to combine our coaching services with another highly successful local pole vault club in Denver (Drift Motion Pole Vault Club). By doing so, we could service the entire gamut of track and field events, making us the only to do so in the state of Colorado. In December 2024, Drift Motion Athletics Club (DMAC) was born.

We made the strategic decision to retire our coaching services and focus on being a digital hub for the track & field community. This pivot allowed us to scale our impact, add new tools and resources (like wind‑adjusted performance, curved treadmill calculators, and downloadable meet sheets) and partner with subject‑matter experts to write in‑depth articles. Not to mention create kick ass merch!

Our energy now goes into creating free and premium resources that anyone can use from anywhere, and help track and field athletes around the world by being the one-stop shop for anything they need.

Our values
