Our Partners

You’ve got problem, we’ve got solutions

  • CoachXPro is run by former university coaches, high school coaches, elite and Olympic athletes, as well as current and former collegiate athletes within our system learning to develop their own coaching skills. We carry numerous certifications through USATF and Specialist Certifications through USTFCCCA, in every event area.

  • Our training systems are just that – systems. We have structured each program based on years of experience coaching and developed for all skill levels unique to each individual athlete and event group.

  • We have begun building out our new indoor facility which will include two pole vault pits, a long jump/triple jump pit, throwing rings, a runway for sprints/hurdles, space for high jump and weightlifting. All this to give track and field athletes the leg up on their competition throughout the indoor season in Colorado. God knows we all need it.

  • CoachXPro offers several affordable coaching packages for group or individual training, as well as offer referral discount opportunities for those who know of other athletes that are interested in joining. We are always willing to work with those in need.

  • As a part of our larger, holistic solution for our team of athletes, we provide nutritional counseling and materials as part of your coaching programs to optimize athletes' diets and performance.

  • CoachXPro will soon be starting a track and field club where any of our athletes interested in participating will have more opportunities to compete in local and regional track meets throughout the winter and summer months under our banner!

  • We are proud partners with Select Physical Therapy who have locations all around the country and provide premier physical therapy to our athletes at a discount. They also employ a range of other products and services such as recovery equipment and functional movement screening to help address injury prevention along with rehabilitation.

  • At CoachXPro we aim to always be as transparent and forthright as possible. One such method of alleviating concerns is hosting regular parent meetings or phone calls to educate and update them on their child's progress and the program's goals throughout the year.

  • Our new schedule has up to three separate time slots per event group to train per week. These times accommodate typical school hours and allow parents and athletes flexibility for other commitments. If you can’t make it one day, you have two other chances throughout the week to get the training you need!

  • One of the most important aspects of sport is often overlooked, and that’s mental skills training. For this reason, we have partnered with Optimum Mental Performance Training, a sports performance business, and constantly work with our athletes at each training session to better their confidence and self-awareness to build mental resilience. This is something we test bi-annually.

  • As former collegiate coaches and athletes, we have a unique understanding of what colleges are looking for, what to expect, and how coaches think when assessing potential student-athletes. We help guide and put together action plans for reaching out to coaches, as well as bring in current collegiate coaches to run classes to help educate athletes looking to go to the next level or gain some exposure.

  • We pride ourselves on frequent communication practices at, and away from training sessions. It’s imperative athletes understand what it is they are doing and why, as well as feeling free and open to ask questions or voice concerns. Coaches are also available via text and email at all times, and updates are provided through mobile apps, social media, and our website, to keep parents and athletes informed on schedules, events, progress, etc.

  • Athletes perform standardized tests that we track and analyze throughout the year. This gives the coaches a tool to monitor athlete development and determine if adjustments are needed. It also lets athletes compete against themselves and others during the off-season which can be fun!

  • We recognize that we are, first and foremost, surrogate parents or family members to our athletes. Safety is a large concern. Facilities and equipment are well-maintained, monitored, and coaches are trained to understand the nuances of the sport and potential risks athletes may experience. We also maintain up-to-date insurance coverages for all training modalities.

  • The beauty of our staff is how passionate we are about growing our athletes as people. Hall of Fame Coach Dwayne Vandenbusche said many times, “You’re a good person first, then a good student, THEN a good athlete.” Each coach is vetted with that mentality in mind and truly wants to be a guide to help each athlete grow in the sport, but also for the bigger picture outside sport. We strive to inspire them to be better people and help pass it along.

  • We try our best to create an expansive team of athletes from all over Denver and surrounding areas, and by doing so, create opportunities for parents and athletes to work together in carpools when needed. This can help a family in a tight pinch if something happens where they can’t make it to practice. One team, one dream!

  • While not necessary, we appreciate donations from anyone or any business. This allows us a chance to give back to our athletes and community. By donating to our programs, you could be supplying a kid in need with a needed pair of specialized track shoes, or helping cover transportation costs or meet entry fees. It also gives us the special opportunity to help fix one of our athlete’s flat tires, etc, reducing financial burdens for our amazing parents.

  • Not only does CoachXPro have in-person training for groups and 1-on-1s for individuals, we also have online training from anywhere, summer camps, 1-day workshops, coaching workshops, technical video feedback, and more. We work with athletes from coast to coast who fly out to us or hop on Zoom calls all the time to receive help from one of our dedicated coaches.

Want to throw farther?

Our program has evolved over the years to help propel some of the best shot put, discus, javelin, and hammer throwers to the highest levels of success.

In recent years, we’ve captured three Colorado State Championship records, five state titles, twelve state finals births, two NCAA All-Americans, too many school records to count, and more!

A few notable names: Valarie Allman, Avery Shunneson, Kyle Demos, Ryan Walstrom, Jayda Glasswright

Should you be jumping bigger?

Our jumping system has bore much fruit with a 4x Colorado state girl’s high jump champion, a sophomore long and high jump state finalist last year, a Junior Olympics triple jumper/pole vaulter who finished 15th and 12th respectively, and countless more school records holders.

We’ve also worked side-by-side with two 6’3”+ high jump women who later became NCAA DII national champions and World Championship qualifiers/finalists and a 7’5” men’s high jumper.

A few notable names: Barbara Szabo, Rylee Anderson, Renata Bergstrom, Doren Sacha, Oliver Harsanyi

Do you deserve to run faster?

Stop wasting your time in the gym or on the track doing the wrong things that inevitably hold your speed gains back. Most of you are making the same mistakes and growing far too slow.

By joining us, you have access to the right information. The same system that saw an NCAA national champion in the 60m hurdles, that put a sophomore last year at the top of the state rankings in the 100m, one of the fastest high school freshman 300m hurdlers in the state, a near 4x200m Colorado state record, three state 200m finalists in the same year, the state runner-up in the 400m, numerous collegiate conference champions and national qualifiers, and more.

A few notable names: Doren Sacha, Michael Dike, Alexandria Carelock, Brett Wright, Allen Osborn

Is your coach also your math teacher?

Don’t get us wrong, there’s nothing wrong with teachers coaching you and your team, but the reality is that most of you either don’t have a highly qualified track and field coach, or you don’t have a coach at all. Trust us, we know the state of affairs in Colorado and we want to help you and your coaches elevate your game!

Frustrated with your gains?

Everyone hits a wall. What you do to bust through the wall and reach your potential is what separates you from the rest of your competition. Learn how to train properly, how to prepare for your meets, and how to be a technical monster so your friends and teammates all go “OoOOoOo!“

Afraid you’re not good enough?

One of he biggest concerns every athlete on the track or out in the field, is the heavy weight of feeling inadequate. Feeling like you’re not good enough and you’re being judged by your teammates, other competitors, coaches, etc.

This is normal! But we can help you learn to control it AND coach you to be a better athlete so there’s less concern on getting the slow clap, and more focus on making it into finals.

Looking to make State or do track in college?

We’ve had too many State competitors to count. We still have athletes that hold numerous State records and hope to continue to build on it.

Having worked at four different universities as a successful track and field coach, and working with many promising young athletes, we know what it takes to make it at the collegiate level, how to reach out to coaches and earn scholarships, and teach you exactly what it will take to be successful as a student-athlete or at any big meet so you’re prepared for anything!

But wait…there’s more!

  • We have put together a template to help you quickly and easily determine what types of exercises you should do, how many reps and sets, how much rest, how much weight, and more. All depending on what part of your season you are in. Take the guesswork out and take control of your gains.

  • Whether you are a jumper, thrower, or sprinter/hurdler, we’ve put together some basic guides you can use to structure your workouts through the year. This way, you don’t have to second-guess if you’re overworking or not working hard enough, or worse, doing the wrong things!

  • Once you’ve learned how to perform the warm-up exercises with us, grab your warm-up routines online. This comes with links to shorts clips on how to perform them, and lists them out so you know exactly what you should be practicing during the off-season or in-season. Keep it fresh.

  • Are you an athlete who likes to eat healthy, track your calories, or looking to lose/gain a few pounds? Don’t forget that what you eat is half the battle to a successful career. We’ve put together a simple calculator that will tell you exactly how many calories you need to eat based on your age, height, gender, and weight in order to maintain your current daily needs. All you need to do is adjust from there!

  • Some of us tend to forget what we need or want to bring along with us for competitions or travel. Being who I am, I put a few simple checklists together to help you prepare for your next bit of traveling so you’re prepared and not screaming at yourself for trying to convince a teammate to let your borrow their spandex… :)
